香港科技大學社會科學部助理教授禹昂博士與威斯康辛大學麥迪遜分校 Felix Elwert 教授合著、發表於《Annals of Applied Statistics》的論文「Nonparametric causal decomposition of group disparities」，獲美國社會學會方法學分會（Methodology Section of the American Sociological Association）頒授 2026 年傑出出版物獎。

禹昂博士是社會學方法學的專家，專攻因果推斷，致力將實質性問題形式化為非參數估計量，並就此開發了基於機器學習的統計推斷方法。
